Joan Clare passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Dec. 29, 2009.
Joan was born in Glace Bay on Feb. 24, 1940 to the late Ronald and Margaret (Steele) Clare.
Joan is survived by sisters, Ina, Clara (Allen) Pegg, Carol (Clinton) Sullivan; brothers, Roy (Madeline), Wesley (Margaret) and Jack (Ann); sisters-in-law, Shirley and Linda. Joan is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joan will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Gordon, Ronald and James.
Funeral service was held at Jones Funeral Home in Sackville, N.B. on Jan. 1, 2010. Burial will follow in the spring.
