RILEY, Florence Ellen - 101, of Windsor, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Sweets Corner, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Caroline (Cochrane) Baxter. Florence is survived by daughters, Shirley McMahon and Marilyn (Blaine) (Wells) Newcombe; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Vivienne Riley and Sara Riley. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, James William Riley; sons, Francis Eugene and Ernest Harry; grandson, Peter; brothers, Frank (Helen) and Hibbert (Laura). Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Lohnes-DeMont Funeral Service Ltd.), 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There was no visitation by request. A private family graveside service was held in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor on Wednesday, September 12, Rev. Bill Gibson officiated.
