The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Friday, March 28, 2008, of Mrs. Noreen Gotell (nee McKeigan) of Charlottetown, age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Doug Gotell. Dear mother of Dale (Janice Frenette) McKeigan, Wayne “Perky” (Evelyn) McKeigan. Noreen is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Cory (Cathy), Nicole, Dana and Max; great-grandchildren Drew, Cole and Sophie, and her brother, Ronnie “Joker” (Joyce) McKeigan. She was predeceased her brothers Charlie “Putt” (Frances) and Nelson McKeigan, and sisters, Margaret (John) MacNeil, Mildred (James) Bradley, Rose and Teresa McKeigan. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home, until 9:45 on Monday morning, then transferred to St Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Internment to take place later, in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. If so desired, memorial tributes in Noreen’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
