It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Ann Mutcher, 87 years of age. She left us peacefully on September 14th, 2012 at Royal Inland Hospital with family members at her side.

Ann was predeceased by her husband Albert Mutcher in 2003.

She is survived by her two children Judi (Lester Evens) and Andrew (Sandy Mutcher), three grandchildren Riley, Nathan, Emily-Sarah all of Kamloops and her sister Pauline Philley of Vancouver, B.C. Also left behind to remember her are her two great granddaughters Addison and Avery Mutcher of Kamloops, as well as her niece Megan (Ian) and nephews Brad, Kerry (Shelley) and Shawn (Nancy).

Ann was born in Bajerov, Czechoslovakia on February 22nd, 1925 and moved to Canada at a young age, with her mother and her sister joining their father and eventually taking up residence at the Victoria Street rooming house, that was located near the 100 block of West Victoria Street in Kamloops.

In June of 1947 she married Albert Mutcher and moved to North Kamloops, where they raised their two children Judi and Andrew. She remained at that residence until health issues forced her to be moved to Overlander Extended Care where she spent the final two years of her life.

Prayers followed by a viewing will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 635 Tranquille Road, Kamloops at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012.

A Celebration of Ann's life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at OLPH Church, 635 Tranquille Road with Father Peter Nguyen officiating the mass.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. M. Wilson and the staff at the Overlander Extended Care facility.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's name may be made to the Kamloops SPCA at 1211 8th St. Kamloops, B.C. V2B 2Y3, or to a charity of your choice.
