It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARGARET MARY WHIFFEN of Rushoon announces her passing at The Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, September 8, at the age of 67. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son Keith (Candace) of Alberta; Daughter Lynn Marie Osmond (Eugene) of Corner Brook; Mother Hannah Gaulton; Sisters Mary Corbett, Bernice Lewis (Phil), Rose Foote (Gerry), Ruth Picco (John), Noreen Synard (Gerald), Glenda Critch (Eugene); Brothers John, Thomas (Marlene), Leonard (Ruth), Michael (Jackie), Kevin (Joanne), and Raymond; Grandchildren Noah and Hayley; Plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Robert; Brother James and Father Patrick.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Interment followed at the R.C. Cemetery in Rushoon. In Margaret’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
