It is with great sadness that the family of the late CAPTAIN LEONARD J. FUDGE SR. of Burin, NL, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, September 17, 2012, at the age of 71 . Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons: Leonard Jr. (Wendy) of Port Au Bras, Calvin of Brooks, AB; Daughters: Wanda (Todd Pretty) of St. John’s, Marie (Derek Abbott) of Port Au Bras; Sisters: Maxine Antle (Jimmy), Anna Planke, Angela Taylor (Wayne); Brothers: Thomas (Sheila), Morris (Sybil), Les (Mary), Henry (Verna), Eugene (Leslie) and Brother-in-Law Maurice Labour; 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren; Common-law Wife Brenda; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Wife Audrey; Parents Jobe and Blanche Fudge; Son Lawrence; Sister Jessie Labour; and Brother-in-Law Bert Planke.

Funeral Service took place at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Port Au Bras on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation followed. Inurnment to take place at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery in Hodder’s Point at a date and time to be announced. In Leonard’s memory donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Port Au Bras. No flowers by request of the family.
