Oral Silas Roberts, 44, of Second North River passed away at home, Monday, September 17, 2012. Born in the Bahamas, he was a son of the late Thomas and Natalie (Davis) Roberts. Oral was a child and youth counsellor at the Peel Children's Center in Riverview. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and was a graduate of George Brown College in Ontario. Oral enjoyed gardening, raising poultry, fishing and reading his Bible. He is survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of fourteen years Debbie (Douglas); cherished children Shyanne, Olivia and Andrew; brothers Marcus, Preston and Cedric; sisters Gail, Sophie and Bridget; special Aunts Linda and Lavigne and many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, September 20, 7 - 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held in the chapel Friday, September 21 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jason Cochran officiating.
