The death occurred At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday September 18, 2012 of George S. Doucette Jr. of Kensington aged 78 years. Born in Summerside on April 3, 1934 son of the late George and Annie (Arsenault) Doucette. Husband of Dianne C. (Stephens) Doucette. Father of Michael (Susan), John (Elizabeth), Carol (David) McQuaid, Debbie (Kerry) Ramsay and David Chamberlin. Father-in-law of Kent Prichard. Grandfather to eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother of Ira (Livie) Doucette and Marie Striefel. Also fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Barbara (Doucette) Prichard, daughter-in-law Mary Lou (Mulcahy) Doucette, seven brothers, three sisters, four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. If so desired contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Humane Society.
