Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on September 18, 2012 three days before his 88th birthday. Predeceased by his wife Annie. He leaves with much love and memories his children: Jeanette (Allan), Robert (Paulette), Marguerite (Jeff), Glenda (Orest), Suzanne (Bob), Kathy (John), Sharon (Peter), Derrick (Betty) and Kim (Jeff); grandchildren: Jill (Bryan), Robert (Trish), Brian (Jess), Jenny (Scott), Marcy (Jay), Nicholas (Jess), Thomas (Jill), Jessica (Roy), Sarah (Luke), Aimee, Jennifer (Paul), Ashley (Kevin), Brett, Kristen, Christopher, and Rachel; great-grandchildren Donald, Sarah Jane, Ava, Hannah, Kenadee, and Brenna; sisters: Helen and Vivian; brother Paul; sister-in-law Marguerite; caregiver Sandi; devoted cat Patches and numerous other family and friends. At his request Matt was cremated with no visitation or flowers. Donations in his memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
