MOULAISON, Marie Marguerite “Millie” – 99, Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac, Dayton, died August 30, 2012. Born September 24, 1912 at Morris Island, Yarmouth County, she was the daughter of the late Jeffery and Anne-Louise (Moulaison) Muise. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr., Wasaga Beach, Ont.; Richard (Beverly), Pickering, Ont.; three daughters, Rosalind (William) Thomas, Spring Hill, Fla.; Muriel (David) Fagan, Barrie, Ont.; Shirley (late James) Creaser, Dartmouth, NS; two brothers, Levi (Flora), Brooklyn, NS; Nelson (late Jeanette), Winnipeg, Man.; three sisters, Adeline (late Lawrence) Cottreau, Mississauga, Ont.; Irene (Lawrence) Thibedeau, Belleville, Ont.; Evelyn (late Edward) Wight, Belleville, Ont.; seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; brothers, Cecil, Arthur, Martin; sister, Rita Conrad; grandson, Brent Creaser. Millie was a talented seamstress and quilt-maker. Visitation took place from 7-9 Sunday, September 23 at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. Funeral mass was held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 24 at St. Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, on what would have been her 100th birthday. Father John MacPherson officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
