At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, on Saturday, March 29, 2008, of Annie Ewena Hume (Nee Acorn) of Kilmuir, age 97 years. Wife of the late George Hume. Dear Mother of Preston (Joyce), Montague, and John (Rita), Pownal. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Georgie Hume; her brother, Fred (Janet) and by her sisters, Bertha (Truelove) Taylor and Marion Cantelo. Predeceased by her son, James, her brothers, Nathan, Chester, Stillman and John, and her sisters Laura Acorn and Margaret Wood. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home, from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. Interment in the Dundas Community Cemetery.
