Phyllis Goodin
GOODIN, PHYLLIS - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Goodin at the Valleyfield Hospital on September 19, 2012. Born July 23, 1918 in Fredericton, daughter of Eddie and Elsie Gregory. Wife of Leslie who passed away in 1983. Survived by daughter Carole and Jim Nurse of Mississauga and son Marc and Yolande of N.D. de L’ile Perrot. Phyllis participated in a great deal of benevolent work: received an Award of Volunteer Recognition from City of Bathurst, volunteer at Red Cross Blood Clinic and “MS Moon Walks”, past Honorary member of Rebekah Lodge for over 70 years, past president and member of the Senior Citizen’s Club 200, lifetime member of Canadian Legion holding certificate of merit, one time teacher for the Literacy Council. No one loved life more than Phyllis and the warmth from her flame will last us our lifetime.
Celebration of her life will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated.
