It is with great sadness the family wish to announce the passing of Marie Elizabeth Rice at home on Sept. 21, 2012.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mamie Ceceila (Butts) Rice.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Lisa Marie Rice (Bill); sisters, Jean, and Mary Rice; brothers, Terry, Bud and Frank Rice and granddaughter, Lilly.
Cremation has taken place and visitation will be Monday, Sept. 24 from 6-9 p.m. and a celebration of Marie’s life will take place Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue, with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of McLellan Brothers Funeral home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
