Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, Robert James Faulkner, age 62. Born in Gander, Robert is predeceased by his parents Flossie and Robert Faulkner; grandparents Charlotte and Tobias Cooper and Gertrude and James Faulkner; his Aunts Gladys Strickland, Rita and Winnie Cooper; Uncles Walter and Bert Strickland and Baxter and Ted Cooper. Leaving to mourn his sisters and brothers-in-law Gladys and Redvers Gosse, Linda and Gerald Snow and Cynthia and Donald Burt; nieces Dana (David) Diamond, Gail Snow (Brandon Carter); nephews Redvers Gosse (Teena), Brian Snow (Shannon Greene), Evan Burt (Lucille O’Neil) and Sheldon Burt (Nicole); grandnieces Megan Diamond and Kaitlyn Gosse; grandnephews Mark Diamond and Colin Gosse; Aunt Muriel and Uncle Bert Faulkner; Cousins Wayne, Renee, Jamie Dion, Christine, Dwan and Brandon Faulkner, Randy Strickland, Crena, Gerald, Dewayne and Christopher Butt, Tobias Cooper, Marie and Henry Dalton; special friends Alice and Irvin Richards, Rob and Susan Lee, Sarah and Cecil Puddester, Majors Linda and Wade Budgell, as well as the staff and residents at Murphy’s Personal Care Home where he spent the past few wonderful years. Robert was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Bonavista.
