It is with great sadness that the family of the late LILY MAY MAYO of Burin, NL announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Gordon (Beulah) of Burin Bay Arm, Robert (Doris) of St. John’s; Sister Joan Periera (Harry) of Burin; Brother Edwin Dicks (Alice) of St. John’s; 3 Grandchildren: Tanya (Bob Grant), Trudy (Bobby Spurrell) and Trina (Wayne Leaman); 4 Great-Grandchildren: Michael, Jessica, Joseph and Charlotte; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Abram; Daughter Carol May, Brother Cecil Dicks, Parents Jim and Jessie Dicks.

Funeral Service took place at the United Church in Collin’s Cove on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Collin’s Cove. In Lily May’s memory donations may be made to the United Church in Collin’s Cove or flowers gratefully accepted.
