POLCHIES, JEANNA - 1919 - 2012 -Jeanna Polchies age 93 passed away on September 5, 2012 at Vancrest Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio home of grand daughter Sheryl Lovy-Tarler. Born on December 10, 1919, in Oromocto, Canada. Daughter of Gabriel and Margaret (Paul) Sacobie. Proceeding her in death are first husband George Polchies in 1945, two sons Ceril Polchies 2011, and Allen in 1965, daughter Alberta M. Polchies 1963 and second husband Bernard (Gene) Polchies in 2000. Survived by daughter Bernadette (Polchies) Lovy of Dayton, Ohio and son Roger Polchies of Woodstock, Canada, grandson Bruce Polchies, 11 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren. Jean loved the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She was a member of the St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church and also sang in the choir.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
