MELANSON, DENIS - 1968 - 2012 - Denis Melanson, known as “Big D”, 44, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012, at his residence. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Gloria (née: Brun) and the late Norman Guy Melanson. Denis enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. Besides his mother, he is survived by two brothers: Maurice “Moe” (Georgette) of Dieppe and Normand Jr. “Ti Norm” (Sue) of Moncton; one niece, Melanie; one nephew Nicholas; two great-nephews: Gino and Philippe, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at 11am. Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
