Nancy passed away after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Nancy was born in Wingham, Ontario, a first child to George and Etoile Mundell. She was soon followed by sister Diane and brother Garry.
Nancy was a thoughtful and compassionate woman who cultivated life-long friendships, and was well-respected and loved within her community. Well known for her love of both animals and people, Nancy was a tireless volunteer for Happy Cat Haven and the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation.
Nancy will be missed greatly by husband Larry; sister Diane Charters (Bob); sisters-in-law Anne Mundell, Wendy Wunch and Carol Pilling (Joe); brother-in-law Lynn (Irene), Len Mork (Sharon) and Bill Mork; 15 nieces and nephews including four local nieces: Jennifer, Tracy and Sarah Mundell (Robin) and Terri Kleij (Michael).
A celebration of life was held on September 22 at St. John’s United Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary.
