Passed away after a short illness at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, March 2, 2008 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Nellie Florence and good friend Joan Young. Leaving to mourn his two sons: Derek and Doug (Joanne); grandchildren: Tracy (Keith) of Paradise, Krista and Dana both living in B.C.; seven great-grandchildren: Cameron, Isabella, Lauren, Merlin, Sasha, Sequoia and Sophie; best friend, Millar Ewing and Dr. Neil and Pam Young. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church.
