
Stephen Pottle
We, the family of the late Stephen Pottle, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who helped in any way to alleviate the sorrow caused by his passing.
The Legion for their professional and touching tribute, led by President David Johnson and Sergeant at Arms Clyde Doucette. Maurice Hynes for the eulogy; Steve would have been proud. Rev. Dawn Barrett for the ceremony and for taking so much time to talk to us. Jean House for lending us her beautiful voice and my son Jim and granddaughters Jody and Candace for their readings. The many Legion members from across the province who attended his funeral. Thank you to the Public Health Nurses, especially Susan and Carla who came to the house every day, your care and support meant a lot to us. The Simon family who were always there to help and support us. Dennis and Mary Byrne for their visits. Steve’s daughter Rebecca and grandson Tommy who helped so much by being here with kindness and caring. The nurses at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their excellent care. Lorraine, Quinton, Gary, Phonse and the volunteers for their excellent reception. Dennis and Jim for providing some of Steve’s favorite music. To everyone who brought food, sent flowers, cards, messages, phone calls and emails. To Evelyn and Laura for their constant support and for being around when we needed them. To Steve’s family who came for his funeral and stayed to help us. To Russell’s Funeral Home for their compassion and services, thank you.
