MUNN, ANNE MARIE IRENE - 1945 - 2012 - Anne Munn of Riverview, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2012. Born in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Cecile Gallant (LeBlanc). She was retired from Transport Canada. Anne will forever be in the hearts of her daughter, Shelley Baxter (Barry) of Riverview; son, Jeff Munn (Sheri) of Moncton; grandchildren, Garrett and Blake; siblings, Don Murray of Port Hope, ON; George Gallant of Vancouver, BC; Jackie Ringuette of North Bay, ON; Betty Allard (Adrien) of Campbellton, NB; Ruby Botacin of St. Catherine’s, ON; Chester Gallant (Sally) of Thunder Bay ON, Rose-Marie Olinek of Blairemore, AB; Lorraine McNeil of Peterborough, ON; Doreen Dermentzis of McLeod’s NB; Lucien Gallant of Calgary, AB; Maurice Gallant of Coquitlam, BC; Richard Gallant (Sharon) of Campbellton, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her brother, David R. Gallant and sister Lucille Rubesch. Anne was a wonderful, caring and loving mother and grandmother. ‘Grammie Anne’ adored her two grandsons, Garrett and Blake and cherished their special visits. Anne enjoyed spending time with friends and her long telephone chats with her many brothers, sisters and nieces. Also, she enjoyed gardening and listening to music. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all staff of Unit 5100 for the wonderful care they provided for Anne during her stay at The Moncton Hospital.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview, NB, (506-869-2007). There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, 85 Old Coach Road Riverview, NB on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 1pm with Rev. David Eagles officiating. The interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations made to The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
