Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Health Sciences Complex on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Cliff Snow, originally from Carmanville and resided in Paradise (Karwood Retirement Retreat), aged 89 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Gola (nee Jones); son Robert “Boyce”; daughter Joyce; parents: Clement and Maria Snow; brothers: Sidney, Donald, Graham, Ford; sisters: Marjorie Gillingham and Dorothy “Dot” Andrews. Leaving to mourn are his daughters: Elizabeth Spracklin (Floyd), Sheila Walsh (Dr. Donald); daughter-in-law Bessie Snow; sister Marina Osbourne; sister-in-law and special friend Roberta Snow; sister-in-law Bessie Snow; brother-in-law Otto Jones; sister-in-law Eileen Gill; grandchildren: Robert Snow (Edna Sebag), Jennifer Spracklin (Ranit Raychaudhuri), Bradley Snow (Jennifer), Aaron Snow (Tracey), Heather Buckle (Ashley), Melissa Walsh-Urier (Gregory), Rebecca Walsh (Steve Hann), and Sarah Walsh; great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Joshua Buckle, Brayden and Samuel Snow, and Benjamin Urier (due any day); as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 1, from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 2, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the General Protestant Cemetery, Waterford Bridge Road.
