ELLIOTT, RONALD EDWARD - With sadness we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Elliott which occurred on September 29, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1940 in Saint John, he was the son of the late James “Tot” and Myrtle (Hughes) Elliott. He is survived by daughters Melissa Jones (Stephen) of Nauwigewauk and Allison Elliott (Geoff Gorham) of Long Reach, NB; brother Paul Elliott (Dianne) of Saint John; sisters Mary McBrine, Dorothy Kirkpatrick, Doreen Bowland and Nancy Goldsworthy (Brian) all of Saint John; two granddaughters Emma and Olivia Jones; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers James Elliott and Robert George "Nipper" Elliott.
At Ron’s request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Animal Rescue League or the charity of donor’s choice.
