The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, April 6, 2008, of Olive “Marie” Tuplin (nee Sudsbury) of Summerside and formerly of Kensington, age 77 years. Marie was born in Spring Valley, P.E.I., on August 14, 1930, to her late parents, Alvin and Minerva (nee Duggan) Sudsbury. Beloved mother of Sandra (Ken) Graham of Darnley, Thelma (Bill) Wall of Kensington, William (Bev) of Brampton, Ont., and Errol “Biff” (Yvonne) of Burlington, Ont. Also lovingly remembered as ‘Grandmom’ to her 10 grandchildren and as ‘GG’ to her 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers and sisters, Alma (Don) MacEachern of Spring Valley; Lee Sudsbury of Margate; Vernon “Bud” (Mary) of Coboconk, Ont.; and Cathy (Lee) MacDougall of Charlottetown. Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her son, Harry Andrew in infancy and her sister-in-law, Pat Sudsbury. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Friday, April 11, 2008, then to Kensington United Church for funeral service at 11 a.m. Memorial donations in Marie’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
