
ELEANOR SUDDES
(nee Wilson)
Surrounded by the love of her family Eleanor passed with grace, sound-mind and inner strength.
She travelled extensively with her husband until his death in 1973; she was a talented artist and after completing a program of fine arts from (then) Capilano College she pursued her BA in Anthropology from UBC receiving her degree confirmation while atop Machu Picchu in 1978.
Her later travels included India and Nepal where she witnessed the sun rise on the Himalayas.
A long time resident of West Vancouver, she moved to the Coast of twenty years ago.
Eleanor remained active in the arts community and inititated the fundraising for Jack Harmon's George Gibson Statue of which she was so proud.
