Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, of Mr. Russell Shepherd of Charlottetown, age 70 years.
Partner and best friend of Ann McPhee (nee Robison) and loving stepfather of Cathy (Marc) Caines and Michelle (Jody) Doucette. Lovingly remembered by his sister Gloria Atchison. Loving grampy of Jordan, Alicia, Justin, Anthony, Nathan, Cassie and Cohen. Russell is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law John (Linda Lou) Robison, Rose (Al) Judd, Rita (Fred) Saunders, Paula (Lou) Creamer and David Robison (Darlene Hughes).
He was predeceased by his parents John and Ruby (Smith) Shepherd, brother Bobby, brother-in-law Gord Atchison and sister-in-law Eileen Robison.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visiting hours will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Lung Association.
