It is with great sadness that the family of the late JEROME JOSEPH WALSH of Little Bay, Placentia Bay, NL, announces his passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the age of 82. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Special Nephews Bill Rennie (Lillian) of Little Bay and Walter Rennie (Corina) of Little Bay; Special Niece Amy Rowlands (Joseph) of Little Bay; Sister-in-law Mary Walsh of Little Bay; Brother-in-law Patrick Rennie of Little Bay; Many nieces and nephews plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Michael and Elizabeth Walsh; Sisters Johanna Doody, Margaret Rennie and Gertrude Lundrigan; Brothers Michael Walsh, Leo Walsh, George Walsh, William Walsh and Angus Walsh; Nieces Sylvia Brockerville and Nellie Ryan.
The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 at 10:00am. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay. In Jerome’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or flowers gratefully accepted.
