It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Janice Ruby Pardy, nee Canning, on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 50 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Keith, her special children; Adrienne (Jeremy) Mitchell, and Jordan, both of Deer Lake, NL, her mother; Mrs. Marjorie nee Blanchard of Deer Lake, NL, her siblings; Rick (Kim) Canning of Deer Lake, NL, Angela (Graham) Hynes of Fort McMurray, AB, & Paul (Lori-Ann) Canning of Stephenville, NL, her mother & father in law; Peggy & Winston Pardy of Deer Lake, NL, her brothers & sisters in law; Kerry (Shirley) Pardy of Fort McMurray, AB, Carson (Donna) Pardy of Ontario, Kim (Tony) Pearce of Fort McMurray, AB, & Craig (Melissa) Pardy of Calgary, Janice was predeceased by her father; Rene Canning, her grandparents; Dorothy & Thomas Canning, Mary & Thomas Blanchard, Annabelle & D.J. Williams, & Catherine & Wesley Pardy. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family & friends. The family will be receiving family & friends at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church 45 Bennett’s Ave, Deer Lake, NL, on Friday, October 5th, 2012, from the hours of 7 - 9 pm, & continuing on Saturday, October 6th, 2012, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Sunday, October 7th, 2012, at 2:pm, with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Interdenominational Cemetery, 77 Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideon Bible Fund, in Janice's memory would be graciously appreciated by the families.
