Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 6, 2012 age 95 years of South Dildo. Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Sarah, brothers James, Leo, Edward and sister Mary. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Ida (Pretty), sons John (Judy) and Kevin. daughters Mary (Hedley Blundon), Viola, Patricia (Frank Hodder), 6 grandchildren- Andrew, Joseph, Tracey, Stephanie, Sarah and Jonathan, 6 great grandchildren- Mathias, Lewis, Jonas, Madison, Miah and Caylee. Also left to mourn brother-in-law Bert Corrigan, Sisters-in-law Nellie Power, Viola Ralph and Sadie Griffin, special caregivers Velma Reid, Grace Brazil and Nellie Smith, as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Sunday and Monday 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 -9:00. Tuesday 10:00- 12:00. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 pm from St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Whitbourne. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, South Dildo.
