Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Cummer Lodge. Pat, loving mother of Jackson Dunlop, grandmother of David and Shayne, and great-grandmother of Cole. Dear sister of Lyle, Helen Currie (Alfred), Theresa Smith, and Kaye McEachern (Gerald), all of Prince Edward Island; and Eileen Veinot (Don) and Carol McPhee of Toronto, and the late Vivian Alderson, Gerry, Bernadette Walsh, and Ivan. Pat will be missed by her many nieces and nephews across Canada. Pat was born in Mount Stewart, P.E.I. and lived most of her life in Toronto. She retired as a teacher in 1988 from St. Edward’s School in Willowdale. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St., Toronto. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Ave. W., Thornhill).
