It is with great sadness that the family of the late ARCH WALSH of Marystown, NL, announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday, October 7th, 2012 at the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Mother Mary Walsh; Son Junior of Marystown; Daughters - Myra Gates (Rocky) of St. John’s, NL, Lori Walsh of Marystown, Amanda Walsh of Marystown, Denise Strang (Paddy) of Lawn, NL, Colleen Riggs (Darrell) of Burin, NL, Sara Walsh (Nick Chapman) of Vermilion, AB; Sisters - Bernadette Drake, Theresa Morris (Patrick), Geraldine Hodder (Bernard), Marilyn Walsh and Mary Green (Rob); Brothers Bart (Betty), Frank (Gladys), Gerard (Adele), Wayne (Lynn), Beaton (Debbie), Luke and Brian. 15 Grandchildren - Brittany (Tyler Hillier), Zachary, Patrick, Jeremy, Brady, Chelsea, Macauley, Logan, Hailey, Riley, Sara, Kaleigh, Casey, Peyton and Emma; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Wife Jeanette on October 4th; First Wife Lorraine Farrell-Walsh; Father Luke and brother-in-law Alphonsus Drake.
The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, at 10:00 am. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Arch’s memory donations may be made to the Walsh family or flowers gratefully accepted.
