NOGUEIRA, ISABEL - Surrounded by her loving family, Isabel Marie Nogueira, loving wife of 48 years to H. Chester (Bud) Nogueira of Hunter Lake, Upper Golden Grove, passed away on October 12, 2012 from a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Audrey Leonard. Isabel was a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy was taking care of her children and four precious grandchildren, whose smiling faces brought her so much happiness and joy. The memories she has helped create will be cherished by all who knew her. In addition to her family, Isabel in her younger years enjoyed gardening and bowling. She had a love for all animals especially her birds that she would watch. She was a member of the Hairdressing Association for 50 years. In addition to her husband, Isabel is survived by her son Bradley (Leann), daughters Shelly (Drew) Adams and Cheryl (Don Burnett); grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kenny, Cory and Robin all of Upper Golden Grove. She is also survived by her brother Edwin (Sonny) Leonard of Saint John; sisters Irene Craft of Saint John and Brenda (Mike) McDonald of Mississauga, ON; brother-in-law Brian (Rose) Nogueira of Hunter Lake; lifelong friend Bob Sherriff also of Hunter Lake as well as her nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation.
