GRAY, ATHOLEAN MARIE - The death of Atholean Marie (Amero) Gray occurred on Saturday, October 13th, 2012 at the Cumberland Regional Health Centre, Amherst, NS. Born May 12th, 1926 in Digby, NS, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Margaret (Gaudette) Amero and wife of the late Arthur Gray (1994). Atholean is survived by her children, Stephen Gray (Audrey) of Hamilton, ON, Margaret Brownell (Wayne) of Northport, NS, Richard Gray (Kim) of Victoria, BC and Kenneth Gray of Chatham, ON; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her sisters, Louise Wood, Adeline Keast, Joan Reid, Eileen Ryan and Mary Voogt (Jake). She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her daughter Vera; her grandson, Arthur Gerald; her brothers David, James, Joseph and Edward and sister, Anna Ryan.
Funeral will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on October 19th, 2012 at 2 pm. Father Ken Weir will be officiating. Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
