“A Gentle Heart Stopped Beating Today”
With heavy hearts, we regret to announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Mom passed away peacefully on Oct. 13, 2012, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
Born Oct. 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Elizabeth (Carrigan) Clements.
Mom was a kind, humble and gentle person by nature; always putting the needs of others first. The courage and strength that she displayed throughout her years, is a testament of the sincere individual she was.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Frank; their six children, Mary (Willie) Bisson, Frank Jr. (Cindy), Anna (Paul) Norwood, Carol Ratchford, Dorothy (Jonathan) Ernst and Brenda. She will also be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy, Ethel, Emerence, Gatha; brothers, Gary, Charlie, Billy, Gussie, Tommy, Freeman; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Pauline was predeceased by a great-grandchild, Tristen, son-in-law, Blake Ratchford, sister, Ella, brothers, Eddy, Johnny, Wilfred and Russell.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. The funeral mass, officiated by Fr. Ray Huntley will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at 10 a.m. in St. Leonard’s Church, Mt. Carmel Avenue. A private family interment will immediately follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
All are invited for fellowship at St. Leonard’s Parish Hall, Convent Street, New Waterford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to the Maple Hill Manor.
