1935 – 2012

Una Grace Burman passed away on October 11, 2012 at the age of 77 years. She will be dearly missed by her son Ed Burman of Kamloops; granddaughters Samantha Burman of Calgary, Jamie Wiebe and Amanda Lavoie; daughter in-law Lori Spencer; Una also leaves behind one sister Lotti (Spurgeon, deceased) Lloy of Nova Scotia and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Una was predeceased by her son John Avery Burman, brother Andrew (Betty) Halliday of Hamilton ON, sister Della (Lionel) Weatherby of Clearwater BC, and brother David (Beverley) Halliday of Nova Scotia.
Una worked at the Kamloops Golf and Country Club for a number of years before her retirement. She was well known for her cinnamon buns. Una also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

The Memorial Service for Una will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Dr, with Chaplain Mary Widmer.

Donations will be gratefully accepted in memory of Una to the Canadian Cancer Society, 111 - 450 Lansdowne St., Kamloops BC. V2C 1Y3.
