Peacefully at Park West Lodge on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, of Mr. Herbert J. “Herb” Stanley of Charlottetown age 91 years.
Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Stanley (nee Matheson) and dear father of Barry (Grace) Stanley, Wayne Stanley, Paul (Iris) Stanley, Doug (Jean) Stanley and Rennie (Cathy) Stanley. He will be lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Herb was the last surviving member of his family being predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Dina (Perry) Stanley; his brothers, Ernie and Bert; and sisters, Geneva Martin, Louisa MacAulay, Celina Whitlock and Ruby Stanley.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
