PIERCE, HELEN ANN - Helen A. Pierce of McAdam, NB passed away October 23, 2012 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Woodstock, NB in 1948, she was a daughter of the late Robert MacIntosh and Winnifred (Watson) Stevens. She enjoyed quilting, photography and spending time out of doors. Helen’s happiest moments were the ones she spent with her family. The love she and her husband shared was an inspiration to others. She is survived by her husband, John L. Pierce; two sons, Robert Pierce (Joanne), Hanwell, NB and their children Billy, Samantha, Ashley (Wil), Mike (Samantha), Carolyn (Jeff) and Corey; John Pierce (Lisa), Ottawa, ON and their children, Andrea and John; four great grandchildren, Atticus, Nataliyah, Lora and Emma; siblings, Linda Cleghorn (Reg), Bob MacIntosh, Donnie MacIntosh (Cathy), Allan MacIntosh, David MacIntosh (Eliza), Karen Albert (Norbert), Ronald MacIntosh (Patty), Randall MacIntosh (Kair), Elizabeth Kay (Glenn), Wendy Cleghorn (Charlie), Danny MacIntosh (Gladys), Ricky MacIntosh (Audrey) and Brenda MacIntosh (Evan); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Joyce.
Visiting hours will be held at Voice of Pentecost Church, McAdam, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the church with Pastor Stephen Tompkins officiating. Interment at Rockland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Melford Nason, Alec Cleghorn, Tommy LaKing, Clyde Townes, Danny Swan and Donnie Blair.
