Charles "Charlie" Edward Friedel of Kamloops passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 70 years of age.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife Lois Friedel, children Brett Friedel of Kamloops, Sunday Friedel of Vancouver, Donna Choquet of Kamloops and Kelly Choquet of Kamloops; grandchildren Jade Sluymers, Kaine Choquet and Paige Choquet; and siblings Earl, Tony, Harve, Herb and Alice.

Charlie passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Charlie was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend - He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.

The Funeral Mass will be recited at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Rd., with Reverend Father Peter Hoan Nguyen, Celebrant.

Memorial donations in Charles' memory may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, 311 Columbia St., Kamloops, BC, V2C 2T1, if friends so desire.
