BOUCHER, ROBERTA MARY – With sadness the family announces the passing of Roberta Mary Boucher which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 25th, 2012. Born 1961, in Rogersville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ola and Helena Boucher. Roberta was a hair dresser for many years and she cherished her children and grandchildren very much. She had a passion for swimming and loved spending many summers visiting with her family. Roberta had a great love for country music and enjoyed listening to Alan Jackson and Patsy Cline.
Roberta will be greatly missed by her loving companion Joseph Beddow; sons Gregory (Angie) and Jeffrey (Amy) of Saint John; daughter Sarah (Terrance) of Saint John; brothers Euclide (Carole) of Miramichi, Merle (Amelia) of Saint John; sister Denise (Ford) of Chilliwack, BC; aunt Fernande who was like a mother to Roberta, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Roberta was predeceased by her three sisters Ginette Arsenault, Mary Boucher and Violet Boucher.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, October 29th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 30th at 1 p.m. Donations in Roberta’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
