POIRIER, BETTYANN - BettyAnn Poirier, 65, of Waltham, Mass., passed away on Thursday October 25, 2012 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Newton. Born on July 3, 1947 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Anna (LeBlanc) Green. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Léo; two sons: Paul (Michelle) of Belmont, Mass. and Roger (Rhonda) of Newton, Mass.; six sisters and brothers: Marie-Rose Evers (Albert), Patsy Léger and Jimmy Green (Louise), all of Moncton; Alice Melanson (Camille) and Gloria Babineau (Raymond), both of Dieppe and Richard Green (Christine) of Riverview; four grandchildren: Kelsey, Amber, Alexandra and Matthew, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of BettyAnn, a contribution to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the New Brunswick Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
