Our beloved Barbara left this world peacefully after a brief illness. She leaves behind her brother, Des (June) Braden, nieces Judy (Jim) Renfrew, Kathy (Bill) La Forge, Carol (Allan) La Forge, brother-in-law, Maurie Low (predeceased by her much loved sister, Sheila and brother, Bev (Lola) Braden), nephews, Duncan and Gordon and niece, Jo-Anne (Ray) Canal.
Barb spent her working life in the care of others, principally at Children's Hospital in Vancouver. She enjoyed her retirement in Penticton and especially loved the time spent with her good friends Peggy and John Prier & family and Joan Bloss. To the last they have been her advocates along with special friend and caregiver, Alexis Bowley. Sincere thanks also to all of the dedicated, patient staff at The Village by the Station and to Dr. E. Watters for her caring and practical support. Thanks also to all of you who shared a kind word or deed with Barb. In lieu of flowers those wishing to donate in Barb's memory please submit your offering to the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation or charity of your choice.
