At the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, the death occurred of Joyce Nelson, age 80 years.
Born in Charlottetown, August 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Cora (Douglas) Procter and wife of the late Allan "Bardy" Nelson.
Joyce will be sadly missed by her children Donald (Erin Notting), Shelley, Susan Turner, George (Heather) and Jeff (Dawn). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Crystal (Neil) Jackson, Darren (Becky), Darcy, MacKenzie Turner, Travis Turner, Emily, Erin, Denver, Cale; great-grandchildren, Rhiver, Boh; brother, Keir (Judy) Procter; and her nephews, Jerry Procter and Nathan Procter.
Aside from her husband and parents, she was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Sharon Nelson.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home where visiting will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest United Church, Montague. Interment will take place in the Lower Montague Cemetery.
