Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on October 31, 2012 at St. Luke’s Home, Patricia Bailey, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Gus (1979), brothers Fred and Johnny, sisters Joan, Kay, Bette and Magdalene. Leaving to mourn her children: Anne Marie (Dave), Patsy (Keith), Ellen (Mike), Robert (Krista), Joan (Les), Susan (Ward), David (Jackie); fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Carmel, Shirley, Rosemarie and Jackie (Sister Brenda Phelan, RSM); brother-in-law Walter, sister-in-law Anne; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of St. Luke’s Home for the care and kindness shown to Patricia during her stay there. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Mary Queen of the World Parish, Topsail Road on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
