Passed peacefully away at Saint Luke’s Home on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, Victoria “Queenie” Lynch in her 103 year. Predeceased by her husband Chesley, parents Alfred and Charlotte Chafe, and sons Percy and Theodore. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Wallace (Linda), Wilf (Marilyn), Reg (Charmaine), Lorraine Geiger (Ken), Nina Strickland (Fred), Rosalie Power (James Gill), Doreen Skinner, Colin (Judy); sisters-in-law: Phyllis Quilty and Violet Lynch; brother-in-law Edward Finch; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Saint Luke’s Home. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, November 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, November 2, from 10 a.m.-12 noon and 2-6 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Holy Innocents Anglican Church, Paradise, on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Holy Innocents Anglican Cemetery.
