Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, James Squires, age 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Estella (April 3, 2001), brothers John, Herbert and Fred, sisters Betty Grosbach, Sheila Rea, Alice Noseworthy and Dorothy Trenchard. Leaving to mourn sisters: Gwen Francis (Calvin), Helen Hampton (Fred) and Marjorie Murphy; special friend and caretaker Fern Somerton (Dave Ryan) and her sons: Justin and Jeremy Somerton, and special niece Roxanne Taylor; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
