Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, October 28, 2012, George Langor of Gooseberry Cove, aged 86 years. Predeceased by parents Issac and Lillian, brothers Kenneth, Raymond, William and Petley, sisters Annie and Mary, very close friend Clarence Spurrell. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Mary Ann of 63 years; daughter Geraldine (The Reverend Fr. Edward Mercer), Bishops Cove; sons: George, Corner Brook and Warren (Paula Kelly), Gooseberry Cove; grandchildren: Samantha Soper and Natalie Langor; sister Glenrose (Dave Watson), Clarenville; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church, Great Heart's Ease with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Gooseberry Cove.
