OUELLETTE, CECILE - At the Mont-Assomption Special Care Home of Saint-Andre, October 31, 2012, Mrs. Cecile Ouellette of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 77 years. She was the wife of the late Yvon Ouellette. Born at Saint-Andre in 1935, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Rose (Michaud) Lavoie. She is survived by three daughters, Marise Furness (late Tommy) of Hampton, Ginette Desjardins (Bertrand) of Saint-Andre and Monette Ouellette (Daniel Lauzon) of Gatineau, Quebec, one son, Aldeo (Anne-Marie) of Saint-Andre, daughter-in-law, Solange Ouellette (late Donald) of Saint-Andre, seven grandchildren, Melissa Rothwell, Tommy Furness, Tina Ouellette, Michelle Ouellette, Anick Ouellette, Milaine Ouellette and Marc Côté, brothers and sisters, Felix Lavoie (Alma) of Saint-Andre, Roland Lavoie (Louise) of Pierrefonds, Quebec, Rina Boucher of Dieppe, Murielle (Guildor Poitras) of Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Marie-Ange Lavoie of Montreal, Marise (Roland Beaulieu) of Grand Falls and Leonard Lavoie (Nola) of Saint-Andre, sister-in-law, Marie-Mai Lavoie, brother-in-law, Alban Bourgoin, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Donald, grandson, Mathieu Côté, three sisters, Mona, Edwina and Marie-Reine, two brothers, Lucien and Camille.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Her funeral service will be held Monday, November 5th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Saint-Andre Daughters of Isabella will meet for prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. For those who wish, donations to the Extra-Mural Hospital Program would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
