December 16, 1933 ~ October 31, 2012
It is with sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing of Steve. He will be lovingly remembered by his companion Shirley Allan; his daughters Ann, Diane, and Michelle (Sean Morton); granddaughter Josephine; grandson Peter; brother Dragutin (Barbara); sisters Zdenka, Anna and Štefanija; and nieces, nephews and friends in many places. He was preceded by his wife Connie of 39 years.
Steve was born in Zagreb, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1960. Steve served his community by establishing his own prosthetics company (Lethbridge Limb & Brace Co.) while raising his young family in Alberta. He also served for many years as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He moved to the Sunshine Coast to enjoy life as a grandfather and to travel the world.
Special thanks to Petrina Wing and home care nurses, Jennifer Birch and especially the wonderful and kind caregivers from Help on the Way. Steve was known for his good humour and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5700 Nickerson Road, West Sechelt, BC.
