BIGGS, ROBERT "BOB" RONALD - 1931 - 2012 - Bob Biggs, of Shediac and formerly of Moncton, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late D. Moody and Anne (Chapman) Biggs. For twenty nine years he taught at Harrison Trimble High School. Bob loved to travel, and upon returning to the classroom, he enjoyed sharing his adventures with his students. Prior to retirement, and moving to his cottage in Shediac, Bob attended St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Moncton and later Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Shediac. For twenty one years he was privileged to spend his winters in Florida and Summers at the Cottage. His will be dearly missed by his only brother, Sam (Maureen) of Riverview, niece, Lauren Richardson (John), nephew, Darren Biggs and a grand niece, Emily, several cousins and friends, in particular Heather Wood and Don Langis, as well as Gerd Gesell of Germany.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and a funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, November 16, at 11am with Father Allison Carroll presiding. The interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Bernard’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
