It is with great sadness that the family of Lucy Cecelia Gillam announce her peaceful passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Saturday November 10, 2012 at the age of 77 years in the presence of her family and friends. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories Melvin (her husband of 57 years), her only daughter Glenda (Bob), grandchildren, Tanya (Rich), Lisa, Adam, and Cory (Nicole). Great Granddaughter Julianna. She also leaves to mourn a large circle of extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her six sisters and three brothers, her parents Abe and Bessie Gale, also leaving to mourn Brother Harvey Gale (Edna), Pollards Point and sister Clarice Mitchelmore, Fort McMurray. Cremation has taken place at Lucy request. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at Country Haven Chapel on Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 10.30 am with Dean Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
